You’ll combine strong technical expertise with ownership and leadership to ensure our platforms remain resilient, efficient, and customer-focused.
In this role, you will:
- Maintain and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure using Terraform, state management, and version control to deliver consistent, automated environments.
- Own and lead major incidents end-to-end, using structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis to drive swift resolution while minimising customer impact.
- Proactively monitor and optimise platforms, identifying and resolving potential issues before they become service-affecting.
- Diagnose complex technical problems across networking, compute, storage, and application layers, using strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement, enhancing platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency while reducing manual effort.
- Collaborate closely with Professional Services and Engineering, Security, and Service teams to deliver resilient, secure, and compliant infrastructure solutions.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, particularly during high-pressure or high-impact situations.
You’ll also act as a senior technical presence within the team—supporting others, contributing to best practices, and helping shape the ongoing evolution of our cloud services.
We want to hear from you if you:

- Have strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and are passionate about building consistent, automated, and repeatable solutions.
- Take full ownership of complex, high-impact incidents, leading them end-to-end with clear communication, structured troubleshooting, and meaningful root cause analysis.
- Stay calm under pressure, confidently coordinating across teams to minimise customer impact and drive fast resolution.
- Proactively monitor and improve environments, spotting risks early and preventing issues before they become critical.
- Bring deep technical expertise across networking, compute, storage, and application layers, with the curiosity to dig into complex problems.
- Are passionate about automation and continuous improvement, always looking for ways to enhance reliability and reduce manual effort.
- Enjoy working collaboratively with Service, Security, and Professional Services teams to deliver resilient, compliant solutions.
- Are a natural mentor who enjoys supporting and developing others while contributing to a high-performing engineering culture.
