We’re looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our Group Finance team within Procurement, based at our Glasgow HQ or Shoreditch office. This is an entry‑level role designed for a high‑potential graduate who’s keen to build a career in commercial analysis, procurement, contracts or commercial governance.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders including the Commercial Director and Procurement Manager, supporting the day‑to‑day commercial operations of the business while gaining exposure to how commercial decisions are made at senior level. The role combines hands‑on operational work with a strong development focus, giving you the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful initiatives early in your career.
Your day‑to‑day activities will include:
- Supporting contract and supplier management
- Maintaining accurate commercial records
- Analysing pricing and spend data
- Ensuring strong commercial governance across the business
- Identifying manual or error‑prone processes and supporting automation and data improvement initiatives
- Assisting in developing and delivering process improvements in collaboration with senior stakeholders
Qualifications and Attributes:
- You’re a graduate (or soon‑to‑be graduate) with an interest in commercial analysis, procurement, contracts, finance or governance
- You’re analytical, detail‑focused and comfortable working with data, documents and structured information
- You enjoy improving processes and are curious about technology, automation or AI to increase efficiency and accuracy
- You communicate clearly and professionally, particularly in writing
- You’re organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- You’re ambitious, keen to learn, and motivated to progress into a commercially accountable role
- Any relevant internship, placement or work experience in a commercial, financial, legal or operational setting is a bonus — but not essential
