IO Associates are supporting a maritime technology development company who are looking to appoint an Electronic Design Engineer to work on high-quality vision systems, subsea sensors and acoustic solutions. There is the opportunity to act as Lead Engineer for assigned projects. As an Electronic Design Engineer, you will be supporting with new designs, updates of existing systems and providing technical support. You will also help to ensure that the systems are delivered to specification, on time and also to budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Design hardware systems using analogue and digital electronics.
  • Preparation of technical specifications for projects.
  • To understand and apply relevant design, regulatory and industry standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • BEng in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Electronic design including circuit design, embedded programming and microcontroller (C preference).
  • Proven relevant experience.
