Role Summary

Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and realisation of electronic systems suited for high‑volume manufacturing.
- Support and manage projects from concept to production, ensuring standards for quality, cost, and timing.
- Collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to develop optimised electronic solutions.
- Engage in schematic design, PCB layout, and testing using lab and simulation tools.
- Guarantee designs meet safety, EMC/EMI standards, and manufacturing requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance, fostering ongoing team development and process improvements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through design review, testing, and evaluation.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Proven experience in designing embedded and power electronic circuits, including microprocessors and motor control.
- Competence with schematic capture and PCB layout; familiarity with Altium Designer preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Experience with design software such as LTSpice; familiarity with SolidWorks advantageous.
- Practical experience in prototype testing, evaluation, and debugging.
- Knowledge of EMC standards and designing with compliance in mind.
- Track record of leading projects, mentoring team members, and promoting best practices in design and manufacturing environments.
