Remote Contract Opportunity – PCB Designer (Commercial Drones) We\’re an ambitious early-stage startup in the commercial drone sector, currently at pre-investment phase and gearing up for significant growth. We\’re seeking an experienced PCB Designer to join us on contract and play a key role in shaping our core hardware at this exciting stage. This is a fully remote role, offering both flexibility and the chance to connect with a company on the cusp of scaling rapidly. Contract Details Rate: £550 per day Engagement: Contract position (remote) Start: Immediate availability preferred What You\’ll Do Design and develop multilayer PCB layouts for drone systems, from concept through to production. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and mechanical engineers to optimize design. Ensure compliance with performance, reliability, and regulatory standards. Work with manufacturing partners to streamline for production and assembly. Support prototype builds, testing, and design revisions. What We\’re Looking For Proven experience in PCB design (Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar). Strong background in high-speed signal design, power distribution, and EMI/EMC considerations. Experience with compact, lightweight multilayer designs (ideally in drones, robotics, or aerospace). Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote-first team.
