We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our client's dynamic team in the space industry. Role Overview This strategic appointment is integral to supporting ongoing and upcoming projects, reflecting the organisation's continued growth and commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will oversee complex projects related to high-tech space missions, providing leadership and expert project oversight that ensures delivery on time, within scope, and within budget. You will have a pivotal role in shaping the future trajectory of our client's space initiatives, working closely with a diverse, international team of engineers and technical specialists. Key Responsibilities Lead the management of multiple high-value space projects, ensuring all key objectives are met, from inception to delivery. Collaborate with international clients to plan, negotiate, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, maintaining cost control and schedule adherence. Oversee contract negotiations, modifications, and compliance, ensuring clarity and alignment with client expectations. Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams, including systems and software engineers, mechanical specialists, and manufacturing staff. Engage in some travel, up to 20 days annually, to maintain key relationships and oversee project sites. Ideal Candidate Profile A minimum of 5 years' experience managing complex technical projects, preferably within aerospace, satellite, or related high-technology sectors. A background in systems, electronics, or software engineering, combined with a solid understanding of engineering processes. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively. Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets and contractual obligations.
