The predicted salary is between 40 - 66 £ per hour.

12 Months (Initially) Aberdeen/Hybrid (3 days per week on-site) £50-55 per hour (Inside IR35) Start date ASAP.

iO Associates has partnered with an Oil & Gas client in the recruitment of a Structural Engineer. Please see below for details about the role:

  • Work tasks:
  • Contribute in CTR-activities/offers, both installation and project related studies
  • Installation follow-up, red mark-up documentation, final documentation
  • Offshore surveys, installation follow up or yard stay can be actual
  • Coordination and cooperation with rig crew and ongoing installation work
  • Contribute in project(s) and deliver on time and budget assigned work tasks
  • Report costs, progress and deviation to technical lead/package engineer or project managers
  • Experience/ Knowledge:
  • 3D design of offshore steel structures (Inventor/E3D)
  • Calculation of steel structures and details (Ansys, STAAD, and Sesam GeniE)
  • 2D design experience (Autocad/Microstation)
  • Good theoretical understanding concerning statics and steel structures
  • Practical knowledge with fabrication of steel structures
  • Petroleum industry standards, rules, and regulations such as Norsok, DNV and Eurocode
