iO Associates are now proudly partnered with one of the UKâs leading nuclear fuel sites who are looking to onboard a Safety Case Manager on a permanent basis. You would be playing a key role across a number of client facilities and projects, including but not limited to Enrichment, Tails Management and Waste / Decommissioning. There is a significant amount of safety improvement work and efficiency gains to be delivered - youâll certainly be kept busy!
Role responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain safety cases on behalf of the SCO (Preparation, implementation, adoption of safety cases).
- Prepare safety case documentation and provide formal advice to safety case owners and plant personnel.
- Lead periodic safety reviews, including management of actions and any safety assessment changes.
- Confirm change management process proposals on behalf of the SCO.
Key requirements:
- Experience within safety and risk from a nuclear/chemical processing background.
- Ability to work crossâfunctionally, with clear, concise communication across all levels.
- Engineering background preferred.
- Safety case training course and provable experience supporting contractor safety.
