A Business & Testing Analyst is required to join a well-established, technology-driven professional services organisation based in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions by combining business analysis with quality assurance, ensuring applications are fit for purpose before reaching end users.
Working within an Agile development team, you'll be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, creating user stories and acceptance criteria, designing and executing test plans, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). You'll work closely with developers, product owners, stakeholders and business users to ensure software is delivered to a high standard while maintaining strong governance across the software delivery lifecycle.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Test Analyst, or Business & Testing Analyst within a software delivery environment.
- Strong experience gathering business requirements and translating them into user stories and clear acceptance criteria.
- Hands-on experience with functional testing, regression testing, defect management and UAT support.
- Experience using Azure DevOps for backlog management, user stories and test plans.
- Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and software development lifecycles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across both technical and business teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
