Job Description:
Looking to connect with experienced Java Engineers for an opportunity within a leading digital asset firm in London.
The team is building next-generation crypto trading systems, with a focus on high-performance, low-latency trading technology.
What they're looking for:
- 10+ years of relevant software development experience
- Strong core Java skills and in-depth knowledge of concurrency and multithreaded programming
- Experience developing low-latency pricing or trading systems in a Linux environment
- Strong application performance profiling and optimisation experience
- Background in one or more of OMS, market connectivity, low-latency messaging or price distribution
Additional experience that would be advantageous:
- eFX development and zero-GC environments
- FIX / SBE protocols
- Aeron, 29West or other low-latency messaging technologies
- Fault-tolerant, highly available distributed systems
- Docker, Kubernetes and AWS
- Exposure to digital assets / cryptocurrency
