Tired of saturated markets and fixed playbooks? This is a unique chance to sell a premium B2B product in the booming Data & AI sector with significant commercial advantages:

  • Strategic Funding Model: You are selling access to Government-Funded Skills Levy Programmes. This is not a traditional B2B budget sale; it involves accessing a strategic, tax-funded budget stream that reduces client budget constraints.( £100-250k deal size)
  • Product Differentiation: We offer a unique, integrated proposition that includes both Levy-funded programmes and high-value Commercial Training. This allows you to target complex client budgets more effectively than single-offering competitors.

You will be the first boots on the ground to build our commercial engine and own the entire sales playbook. This is a role for a proven hunter who wants maximum influence and financial reward.

Comp: £50-100k + 100% OTE (uncapped) – £100-250k average deal size

What You\’ll Be Doing: Build the Engine, Own the Upside (Full-Cycle Sales)

You will operate as a true founding sales team member, owning the full sales cycle and setting the strategic direction for key client acquisition:

  • Pioneering Pipeline Generation: We need elite hunters. You are responsible for building your own pipeline from the ground up (cold calling, strategic email campaigns, networking). You will not be supported by an established SDR function initially.
  • Playbook Development: You will form the B2B GTM playbooks as you go, capturing what works and designing scalable processes for future hires.
  • Large Deal Ownership: Navigate complex sales cycles to secure major clients for both our Levy-funded and commercial data/AI training programmes.
  • Differentiated Selling: Clearly articulate the advantage of iO-Sphere\’s comprehensive training range and the value of our close relationship with SAIGE (our Ofqual-regulated awarding body) to provide high-value qualifications.

Non-Negotiable Track Record

  • Target Smasher: A verifiable, strong track record of consistently smashing targets and ranking as a top performer (top 5-10%). We need proof you are the best.
  • Direct Industry Experience (Ideal): Experience selling B2B skills-levy funded programmes in England is ideal. Experience selling commercial Data and AI training or SaaS solutions is a significant advantage.
  • Existing Network: A comfort level with leveraging your own industry contacts to generate immediate pipeline, coupled with a desire to build repeatable, scalable processes.

  • Self-Motivated & Disciplined: You thrive on ambiguity. You are highly disciplined and ready to structure your own strategy, comfortable with frameworks like MEDDPICC and methodologies like the Challenger Sale.
  • Hungry & Ambitious: You are ready to go for an exciting growth journey and the upside that comes with being an early commercial leader.
