A T400 Stress Engineer is required to support a major international aerospace and space organisation at its Broughton wing manufacturing facility. The organisation is a global leader in aerospace, defence and space systems, delivering advanced aircraft, satellite and launch solutions worldwide. This opportunity sits within the Wing Plant Engineering Team, supporting structural analysis activities on live production aircraft structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform static structural analysis on metallic and composite aircraft structures
  • Analyse and validate structures at component level for static strength and fatigue & damage tolerance (F&DT)
  • Produce strength margins and reserve factors in accordance with validated Airbus methods and sizing processes
  • Provide stress analysis support for concessions, repairs, and structural acceptance activities
  • Ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures
  • Work closely with plant engineering and manufacturing teams to support production operations

Required Skills & Experience

  • T400 Stress Approval / Signatory status (essential)
  • Strong background in aircraft structural stress analysis
  • Experience analysing metallic and composite aircraft structures
  • Concessions and repair stress analysis experience
  • Aviation background (essential), ideally with Airbus product knowledge
