We are currently recruiting for a VTPS Lead / Continuous Improvement Engineer to join a globally recognised high-technology manufacturing environment based in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Continuous Improvement professional with a strong Lean Six Sigma background to drive operational excellence across a complex engineering and manufacturing operation.
In this role, you will lead the implementation of Lean VTPS principles, coach teams in continuous improvement methodologies, and deliver measurable improvements in quality, productivity, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with operational and engineering teams while representing the business at group and global improvement forums.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Lean Six Sigma training across the business.
- Coach and mentor teams on continuous improvement methodologies.
- Lead cross-functional CI and waste reduction projects.
- Define and maintain Lean manufacturing standards.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and structured problem solving.
- Track and report operational KPIs and improvement metrics.
- Support risk mitigation and process optimisation activities.
- Represent the business in global VTPS meetings and initiatives.
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Good understanding of risk mitigation and process improvement tools.
- Strong MS Office and general IT skills.
