Our Client operates within the Digital Transformation into National Securitysector, supporting strategic initiatives that drive digital transformation and data-driven decision-making.
We are ideally looking for Business Analysts that have some or all of the below experience with Data, however I know that this is very rare combination in the NS sector, so please don't hesitate to ask if you're a Business Analyst with the right clearance, or a Data Analyst with the right clearance.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation of cross-organisational data labelling standards, data lineage and provenance standards, data quality standards, and data discovery standards.
- Engage with Data Platform Product, Information Managers, Solutions Architects and others to ensure that policy recommendations are being considered across data architecture teams.
- Working within your data office team to shape practical data policies, and aligning that information cross-organisation to enable a cohesive data strategy.
Ideal Skills / Experience
- Good at understanding complexity and abstracting that into a form that is consumable for a non-technical audience.
- Experience of achieving data interoperability between 2 or more systems or organisations.
- Experience of working with and developing data standards and the negotiation and collaboration that this requires.
- Experience working with or developing data models, ontologies, data catalogues, data lakes and data warehouses.
- Good stakeholder engagement skills.
- Self-starter, who can work autonomously within parameters set.
- Ideally some AWS experience and moving data to the cloud.
- Ideally experience of working in the National Security industry and some understanding of the existing technology, data, security and compliance requirements.
