I'm working with a public sector consultancy who are looking for an experienced Service Designer to shape end-to-end demand-to-delivery journeys and ensure services work coherently across policy, product and operations.

Contract: 23/03 - 15/05 (likely extension)

Day Rate: £500-£575 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: Remote (with onboarding in London)

Clearance: Active SC clearance essential

The Role

  • Design and refine end-to-end demand-to-delivery journeys, ensuring they are clear, usable and joined-up.
  • Clarify boundaries, handoffs and interactions between policy, product and operational teams.
  • Ensure the overall service model is coherent, efficient and aligned with user and business needs.
  • Work closely with product, delivery, policy and operations to embed service design best practice.

Essential Experience

  • Proven Service Designer in UK public sector, with strong GDS experience (service standards, phases, design principles).
  • Track record of mapping and improving complex, multi-team services end-to-end.
  • Comfortable facilitating workshops and working with senior stakeholders across disciplines.
  • Active SC clearance (in-date and transferable).
