Technical Lead | Contract | Higher Education
I'm looking for an experienced Technical Lead to support a major Student Information System transformation within Higher Education.
This is a senior, hands-on technical leadership role, taking ownership of the technical direction across the programme and working across student systems, architecture, integrations and data migration.
You'll act as a key technical authority on the programme, working closely with internal teams, university stakeholders and third-party suppliers to ensure the solution is robust, scalable and successfully delivered.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead the technical delivery of a Student Information System transformation
- Own the architecture, integrations and data migration
- Lead developers, analysts and testers across the programme
- Turn business requirements into clear technical solutions
- Work with and challenge third-party suppliers
- Act as the technical lead for senior university stakeholders
What we're looking for:
- Strong technical delivery experience within UK Higher Education
- Experience with Student Record Systems β SITS/eVision, Banner or similar
- Experience with major SIS implementations, upgrades or replacements
- Good understanding of the end-to-end student lifecycle
- Strong integration/API and data migration experience
- Strong SQL/database xiskglj knowledge
- Experience leading technical teams and working with senior stakeholders
- Azure/AWS experience beneficial
