We are seeking a highly skilled Interim Tax Manager to support our Client during a pivotal period of growth and regulatory adaptation. This strategic role offers the opportunity to lead critical tax functions, influence wider business decisions, and contribute to the ongoing transformation of the organisation's tax compliance and reporting landscape.
- Lead the preparation and submission of UK and international tax compliance filings, liaising with external advisors as needed.
- Ensure accurate end-to-end tax accounting aligned with IFRS standards, including disclosures, reconciliations, and data integrity management.
- Develop and deliver high-quality tax documentation, forecasts, and strategic insights for senior leadership and audit committees.
- Collaborate with external consultants on transfer pricing strategies, documentation, and implementation.
- Provide expert advice on international tax matters, including cross-border initiatives, permanent establishment considerations, and structural modifications.
- Partner with finance, operational teams, and business units to assess tax impacts of strategic initiatives, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Manage relationships with tax authorities, support external audits, and handle tax risk governance activities.
- Drive continuous process improvements within the tax function, contributing to modernisation efforts that enhance scalability and compliance efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in corporate tax management within complex organisations.
- Strong understanding of UK and international tax compliance, reporting, and transfer pricing.
- Familiarity with IFRS tax accounting standards and disclosures.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of explaining tax concepts to non-specialists.
- Demonstrable track record of process optimisation and implementation of tax systems or controls.
- Prior involvement in tax transformation or system change initiatives.
- Knowledge of digital tax reporting tools and automated tax processes.
