Job Description \n Role: Test Technician \n Location: Aberdeen, Onsite \n Type: Initially offered on a temporary basis, with a clear intention to transition to permanent employment for the right candidate. \n Salary: Up to Β£35,000 per annum (D.O.E) \n Test Technician is required for a specialist technology organisation within the oil & gas industry, focused on high-speed wireless communication, data analytics, and advanced signal-processing technology. \n This is a hands-on role ideal for a technician with strong electronics, testing, troubleshooting, and data analysis experience, working across both onshore and offshore environments. \n Key Responsibilities \n \n Conduct and monitor testing processes across electronic systems and equipment \n Maintain, repair, and calibrate test equipment and systems \n Analyse and interpret test data and identify faults or anomalies \n Troubleshoot electronic issues and carry out necessary repairs \n Document bugs and issues clearly so they can be reproduced and investigated by engineers \n Prepare and document accurate test results and reports \n \n Required Skills & Experience \n \n Proven experience as a Test Technician or in a similar technical role \n Strong hands-on experience with testing and measurement equipment \n Strong understanding of test procedures and data interpretation \n Electronics troubleshooting and repair experience \n HNC in Electronics or equivalent technical qualification \n Degree in a relevant technical field is advantageous \n \n This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative oil & gas technology organisation working with advanced wireless communication, signal processing, electronics, and data analytics technology. \n Share your updated CV here or at (see below) to apply now!
