Location: UK Based / Hybrid

Contract: 6 Months Initial

Rate: £600-700 per day

We're looking for a highly competent Snowflake Data Consultant to support a major cloud data transformation programme. This role requires strong experience across both Data Engineering and Data Architecture, alongside exposure to Snowflake Cortex / Cortex AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable solutions within Snowflake.
  • Develop and optimise ELT/ETL pipelines and cloud data architectures.
  • Drive best practice around performance, governance, security, and cost optimisation.
  • Support AI-driven use cases using Snowflake Cortex capabilities, particularly Cortex Code.
  • Work closely with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders.

Required Experience

  • Strong commercial Snowflake experience, including Cortex AI (Cortex Code, Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search etc).
  • Proven background in Data Engineering and Architecture.
  • Strong SQL and cloud data platform expertise.
  • Experience with Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and data modelling.
  • Exposure to CI/CD, Terraform, Python, DBT, Matillion, or Airflow.
  • Strong stakeholder and consultancy skills.
