We're supporting a major UK Government department looking for a Senior/Lead Delivery Manager to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will sit at the heart of their digital transformation, driving the delivery of strategies that power technology across the UK public sector. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining high-level partnerships with major global technology firms and emerging suppliers to ensure the public sector accesses world-leading digital tools at an efficient cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Delivery: Lead and oversee the implementation of supplier engagement strategies, removing blockers and navigating complex governance.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior officials and digital leaders across government to support high-priority investment projects.
- Agile Leadership: Manage complex dependencies and lead project development using Jira and Agile methodologies.
- Relationship Management: Partner with commercial agencies to deliver events and initiatives that align with the 'Blueprint for Modern Digital Government'.
- Risk & Governance: Implement effective risk management and reporting structures for departmental boards and wider strategic priorities.
