About the role: You'll be a hands-on SFMC practitioner designing and building personalised, multi-channel marketing journeys at scale. You'll work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to turn requirements into robust Marketing Cloud solutions across email, journeys, automation and data - with a strong focus on quality, deliverability, compliance, and measurable performance.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing and deploying end-to-end customer journeys in Journey Builder (branching, re-entry, multi-step).
- Building and optimising email campaigns in Email Studio (including dynamic content/personalisation).
- Creating Automation Studio automations (imports, triggered sends, scheduled processes, file transfers).
- Managing data structures in Contact Builder / Audience Builder (data extensions, segmentation, attribute groups).
- Developing and maintaining assets in Content Builder (emails, landing pages, content blocks).
- Supporting Marketing Cloud Connect and CRM data sync (data integrity + troubleshooting).
- Applying GDPR, consent and suppression best practices across all solutions.
- Investigating issues (journey errors, data anomalies, campaign problems) and driving root-cause fixes.
- Contributing to technical documentation and supporting agile delivery (ceremonies, demos, sprint reviews).
What we're looking for:
Essential:
- Strong, hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience (developer/consultant capacity).
- Solid experience with Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Content Builder AMPscript and/or SSJS for personalisation, conditional logic, data lookups.
- Confidence working with segmentation and subscriber/data management.
- Strong grasp of deliverability, compliance, GDPR/consent, and campaign reporting.
Nice to have:
- Marketing Cloud Personalization / Interaction Studio (or broader personalisation capability exposure).
- Marketing analytics / reporting tooling experience.
- Exposure to Data Cloud for segmentation/activation use cases.
