The Role
We\’re seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team based in Leicester . This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering engineering and technical activities across a range of exciting and complex projects.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you\’ll manage the delivery of engineering outputs using your process knowledge and technical expertise, while supporting project and client relationships.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

Leading and delivering mechanical engineering tasks as part of multi-disciplinary teams

Supporting the effective management of client relationships
-
Ensuring the correct application of engineering procedures, codes and standards
-
Contributing to project safety assessments and risk management
-
Producing, reviewing and approving technical deliverables including calculations, reports, drawings and models
This is a hybrid role , offering 3 days in the Leicester office and 2 days working from home.
What We\’re Looking For:

Experience working collaboratively in multi-discipline engineering teams

Ability to work across a range of project types and levels of complexity

Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with clients and stakeholders

Ability to identify and manage technical risks
Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum HNC/HND in Mechanical or General Engineering (or equivalent experience)

Significant demonstrable experience in a relevant engineering discipline

Nuclear experience is not required – we welcome applicants from a wide range of industries
