An opportunity has arisen to work with a robotics organisation going on an incredible journey. They are developing a piece of technology that will clear up the world we live in and save a vast amount of time and resource.
It\'s a position that allows you to genuinely make a difference, the role will allow you to take ownership of the mechanical design aspects in the company and you can really put your stamp on things.
They need a fair amount of experience here, someone who has been through a few product life cycles and knows what can go wrong before it does. The key part of this role is enabling the company to develop a repeatable product, not just a one off.
Required experience:
- Mechanical design - Ideally with the full life cycle.
- Design for manufacture is a big plus, as well as a good understanding of the manufacturing process
- Robotics or FMCG background is ideal, any form of special purpose machinery is also of interest.
- Keen to work in a start up and get stuck into a variety of problems
- Experience with CE marking
With the nature of the position requiring a lot of hands on kit, you\'ll be required in the office more often than not. There is flexibility and a day or two from home a week will be the norm.
The salary will be competitive, especially for a start-up, this is a pivotal role for the team and will become a huge opportunity in time.
