Role Summary
Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior / Chartered Building Surveyor to join a dynamic and experienced team. This role offers a strong mix of project and professional work, with the opportunity to work closely with key clients, contribute to business growth, and progress into more senior roles.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop detailed project briefs with clients and senior stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Prepare designs, specifications, and tender documentation
- Administer JCT building contracts and ensure compliance
- Undertake professional surveying duties including condition surveys, defect analysis, dilapidations, and party wall matters
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal/external stakeholders
- Support project budgeting and financial control
- Mentor and support junior team members
Qualifications & Experience
- MRICS Chartered status (preferred) or working towards
- Experience across commercial, retail, or educational properties
- Competent in AutoCAD and/or REVIT (training can be provided)
- Familiarity with NBS Chorus
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
- Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
- Experience managing or mentoring team members
- Exposure to complex property portfolios
- Knowledge of property or facilities management
