Overview

We’re hiring a Senior Network Automation Engineer to join a consultancy delivering large‑scale transformation across cloud and network infrastructure. This is a hands‑on engineering role for someone who enjoys building automation‑first platforms, applying Infrastructure as Code, and embedding modern NetDevOps practices. You’ll work within a high‑performing engineering team to modernise network services across hybrid cloud environments, improving reliability, observability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and automate cloud‑based network infrastructure
  • Build Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform (and Ansible)
  • Develop automation for network provisioning and operational run tasks
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network/infrastructure delivery
  • Support AWS, Azure, and hybrid networking environments
  • Improve platform reliability, monitoring, and observability
  • Work within Agile / Scrum delivery teams
  • Collaborate closely with Architecture, Platform Engineering, and Security teams
  • Drive continuous improvement across automation and network service delivery

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong Terraform experience (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Configuration management (Ansible preferred)
  • CI/CD experience (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
  • Linux administration + scripting (Bash / Python)
  • AWS and/or Azure networking experience
  • Exposure to Kubernetes / container platforms
  • Strong Git / version control habits
  • Monitoring/observability (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of NetDevOps principles
  • Experience delivering in Agile environments

  • Cisco networking
