iO Associates are currently looking for an SC Cleared Offensive Security Engineer for an initial 6 month contract role (OUTSIDE IR35) based in London. Day rates will be based on level of experience. You must hold active SC or DV Clearance for this position and the client would need someone onsite in London 2-3 days a week.
Here's what we're looking for:
- Hands-on engineering role focused on building offensive security products, not traditional penetration testing.
- Deep SME-level expertise in offensive security to design, develop, and shape technical cyber solutions.
- Involves working closely on complex projects and contributing directly to product creation and delivery.
- Role supports Defence and Secure Government clients, so active security clearance is required.
- Experience or interest in AI / Machine Learning is a desirable bonus for future-focused cyber projects.
In an ideal world, the client would like to get someone started ASAP but we can work with longer notice periods if needed for the right candidate.
