IT & Test Engineer – MOD Project | Outside IR35
Corsham (2 days onsite/week, occasionally 3) + Potential to work from other MOD sites instead
6-Month Initial Contract | 2+ Year Programme

Join a new MOD programme as an IT & Test Engineer, supporting the testing and integration of secure IT systems. You\’ll write and execute test scripts for Core/Hub networks, working closely with the IT&T team in a hands-on, Agile environment.
Role Overview:

• Develop and run test plans/scripts for Microsoft Server-based systems
• Execute testing on formal test rigs
• Capture evidence, report defects, and support integration activity
• Work collaboratively with project Test Managers & IT&T team

Requirements:

• SC Clearance (minimum) – Must be transferable; DV a bonus or willingness to go through it
• Experience testing Microsoft Server 2012R2/2016: AD, DNS, DHCP, SQL, Exchange, etc.
• Confident with virtualisation (VDI, VMware) and PKI integration
• Familiar with MOD systems (e.g., NATO FAS, Defence PKI)
• Strong documentation, communication & problem-solving skills
• Jira/Confluence & Agile working methods
