SC Cleared / Clearable Data Protection Officer - 6 Month Contract (OUTSIDE IR35)

iO Associates are currently looking for an SC Cleared (preferable) or Clearable Data Protection Officer / Privacy Specialist to join a UK Government programme.

This is an OUTSIDE IR35 Contract role offering up to £675 a day for an initial 6 months (scope to extend by 12 months). This is a hybrid working role (mostly remote) and you’re able to work from either London, Bristol or Manchester.

We’re looking for candidates with:

  • 5+ years experience as a Data Protection Officer / Specialist / Technologist
  • Experience with Government clients or projects
  • IAPP certified (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT)
  • Background working for Big Tech firms or Cloud consultancies before entering government programmes (desirable)
  • Eligible for SC Clearance (UK National) or hold active SC Clearance
