iO Associates are partnered with a specialist secure ICT provider supporting the UK Defence and Security sector, currently looking to hire a Service Operations Engineer to join their growing operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd line support across hardware, software, networking, and cloud
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within SLAs, supporting 1st line as escalation
  • Monitor systems, manage patching, and implement changes
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on complex issues

Key Requirements:

  • 2+ years in IT support / Service Desk (ideally MSP)
  • Strong Windows, Microsoft 365, and basic networking knowledge
  • Exposure to virtualisation (VMware/Hyper‑V) and cloud (Azure/AWS)
  • Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)

Security Requirements:

Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance + DV Clearance. No sponsorship available.
