Operations Engineer is required for a specialist UK defence and critical infrastructure organisation, recognised for delivering highly secure and resilient communications and infrastructure solutions across government, defence, healthcare, enterprise, and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support Linux and Windows infrastructure environments
- Perform routine patching, system maintenance, and vulnerability remediation
- Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve operational issues
- Troubleshoot incidents across networking, firewalls, virtualisation, and cloud platforms
- Support change management activities in line with ITIL processes
- Maintain accurate documentation, ticket updates, and operational records
Key Requirements
- Experience working within Infrastructure Support, Operations Engineering, or Systems Support environments
- Strong Linux and Windows administration/support experience
- Good understanding of networking, firewalls, and virtualisation technologies
- Exposure to cloud platforms and modern infrastructure environments
- Experience working within ITIL-aligned environments
