Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead

New Product Introduction (NPI) , drive manufacturing excellence, and develop a high-performing engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Manufacturing Engineering activities across New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Optimise manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and develop a small team of Manufacturing Engineers.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to deliver successful projects.
  • Support change control, manufacturing documentation, and production readiness.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience leading a Manufacturing Engineering team.
  • Strong background in NPI and manufacturing process development.
  • Experience within low-volume, high-value electromechanical manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
  • Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Defence or other highly regulated industry experience.
  • Knowledge of PFMEA, 8D, and change management.
