Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead
New Product Introduction (NPI) , drive manufacturing excellence, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Manufacturing Engineering activities across New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Optimise manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Lead and develop a small team of Manufacturing Engineers.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to deliver successful projects.
- Support change control, manufacturing documentation, and production readiness.
Skills & Experience
- Experience leading a Manufacturing Engineering team.
- Strong background in NPI and manufacturing process development.
- Experience within low-volume, high-value electromechanical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Defence or other highly regulated industry experience.
- Knowledge of PFMEA, 8D, and change management.
