We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a number of complex defence and engineering programmes during a period of growth and transition. This role is focused on strengthening project delivery, governance, and controls across multiple active projects, working closely with programme, engineering, and supplier teams to improve delivery maturity and forecasting capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects through the full project lifecycle
  • Strengthen project governance, controls, and reporting processes
  • Develop and maintain credible project schedules and forecasts
  • Support definition and management of technical requirements
  • Drive cost control and delivery discipline across programmes
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, production, and supplier teams
  • Ensure effective stakeholder communication and programme visibility
  • Support improvements in project management maturity and standards

Required Experience

  • Proven experience delivering complex engineering or defence projects
  • Strong project controls and governance background
  • Experience using Microsoft Project
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced environments and hit the ground running
  • Experience within manufacturing, defence, or highly regulated industries
  • Defence sector experience highly beneficial
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
