I’m working with a long-established, product-led organisation going through a really interesting internal transformation. They’re now looking for a Product Designer to join a growing product team and work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners and Engineering. This isn’t a “marketing site” design role. It’s about solving real problems in real systems, such as internal operational tools and data-heavy interfaces.
What you’ll be doing:
- Turning user needs into clear user flows, wireframes and UI designs
- Improving existing systems – making complex journeys simpler and more intuitive
- Working across UX + UI end-to-end (not siloed)
- Designing for real-world scenarios (errors, edge cases, messy workflows)
- Collaborating closely with product + engineering to ship usable solutions
What we are looking for:
- Experience improving existing products / systems (not just greenfield)
- Comfortable working on complex / data-heavy applications
- Ability to bring clarity and structure to messy environments
- Confident using tools like Figma
- A genuinely user-focused mindset
You’ll be joining a growing product function where there’s genuine opportunity to shape how things are done, working alongside an experienced Lead Designer on high-impact work that goes beyond surface-level design.
Logistics:
Manchester – near to Heaton Park. Onsite initially 5 days – then moving to hybrid model.
