Principal Civil Engineer – Critical Infrastructure & Land Development

London or Epsom (Hybrid – 3 days per week office/site)

Principal Civil Engineer is needed to be a part of a leading global engineering and design consultancy delivering pioneering solutions across critical UK infrastructure and strategic land development. As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams delivering complex external works packages (earthworks, drainage strategies, utilities, and pavements), while authoring and approving high-level technical deliverables and mentoring junior engineering talent.

Skills

  • Chartered (CEng) or Incorporated (IEng) Civil Engineer (or degree equivalent).
  • Proven experience coordinating/managing civil design delivery teams within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong technical background in external works design, CDM regulations, and UK design codes.
  • Hands‑on proficiency with tools such as Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, or Causeway Flow.
