Role Overview:
We are hiring an IT Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of end-to-end solutions across applications, data, integration, and infrastructure. You will guide architectural decisions from requirements capture and high-level design through to implementation and sustainment, ensuring alignment with technical, security, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture across multiple domains
- Produce high-level designs, interface specifications, and technical proposals
- Support platform selection and buy vs build evaluations
- Ensure compliance with architecture principles, security, and regulatory standards
- Engage with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams on technical decisions
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect on large, complex programmes
- Strong background across application, data, integration, and infrastructure architecture
- Solid knowledge of integration concepts (SOA, ESB, XML, Web Services, MQ)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Exposure to logistics or supply chain technology
- Familiarity with WMS, TMS, ERP, procurement, or analytics systems
- Knowledge of TOGAF, MODAF, or ArchiMate
- Experience with compliance documentation in regulated environments
- Background working within CMMI Level 3 environments
Clearance Requirements:
- BPSS is required to start
- SC clearance required for the role
