A skilled SC Cleared Software Engineer with strong Java and cloud development experience is required for an innovative organisation delivering cloud-based geospatial software solutions used in complex, data-driven environments. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications within a collaborative Agile Scrum team. Working across the full software development lifecycle, you will contribute to the delivery of secure, high-quality software while supporting continuous improvement and best engineering practices. The role offers a hybrid working model based in Newcastle, with four days onsite and Fridays working remotely.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Active SC Clearance
- Proven experience as a Software Architect or Senior Technical Lead
- Strong background in software architecture and solution design
- Experience working within complex enterprise or mission-critical environments
- Ability to balance technical, business, and security requirements
