iO Associates are currently looking for an SC Cleared Operational Analysis / Defence Interoperability Consultant for an initial 12 Month Contract (Outside IR35) offering up to £600 per day starting ASAP. We're supporting a major Defence programme to help shape and deliver next-generation operational capabilities across complex multi-domain environments. This is a highly strategic and customer-facing role, ideal for someone with deep Defence operational analysis expertise and a strong understanding of C3I interoperability, information exchange, and NATO/MoD frameworks.
The Role
- You'll work closely with Defence stakeholders, programme teams, and operational users to develop operational concepts and guide capability development across complex mission environments.
- The role will involve occasional travel to client sites across the South West and London (including Bristol, Corsham, and London).
Key Experience Required
- Extensive experience in Operational Analysis and development of: ConOps, ConUse, ConEmp.
- Strong background in data/information exchange and interoperability within Defence environments.
- Deep understanding of multi-domain operations across: Air, Land, Maritime, Cyber.
- Ability to engage and influence senior customer stakeholders and operational communities.
- Experience guiding teams through complex operational and strategic challenges.
- Strong understanding of Defence and NATO standards/frameworks including: MoDAF, NAF, C3I Information Interoperability.
