We are supporting a leading UK organisation delivering large-scale, customer-facing digital platforms. They're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in building AI-powered backend solutions.
This role is ideal for a hands-on .NET engineer with practical experience in AI/LLMs and prompt engineering, who can design scalable backend systems while influencing technical direction.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver AI-powered features using LLMs, prompt engineering, and data-driven approaches
- Build and maintain .NET Core APIs and backend services supporting customer platforms and internal tools
- Contribute to architecture, system design, and technical strategy
- Integrate services across a wider ecosystem using microservices and event-driven patterns
- Drive engineering best practices, automation, and continuous improvement
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring across squads
- Strong experience with .NET Core, C#, APIs, SQL, and cloud (preferably Azure)
