Our client is seeking a Network Engineer to enhance their networking solutions. This is your chance to work with cutting-edge technology and drive impactful change on a high-profile, nationally critical project. This will initially run for 6 Months, with likely extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Architect, configure, and maintain network infrastructure utilising Juniper, Palo Alto, and Cisco devices to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Network Management: Oversee LAN, WAN, and VPN operations across multiple locations, ensuring seamless connectivity and security.
  • Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor and diagnose network issues to minimise downtime and maintain high standards of service.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional architecture and security teams to integrate advanced solutions and improve network scalability and resilience.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation of the network topology, configuration changes, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Juniper, Palo Alto, and Cisco network devices.
  • Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies (VLANs, LACP).
  • Proven experience deploying and maintaining network services in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (desirable).
  • Strong capability in integrating network monitoring and automation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills complemented by a collaborative team-oriented approach.

Requirements:

  • Must hold active SC or DV clearance.
  • Sole British National.
  • Able to work up to 3 days per week in Central London.
