Our client are looking for an experienced Developer to join them on a contract basis. They are a household name, operating at the forefront of the IT and engineering sectors, specialising in the development of advanced engineering software and digital tools. Due to ongoing strategic initiatives and growth in their engineering software capabilities, our Client is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer with expertise in .NET technologies. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of robust, maintainable software solutions that support engineering workflows.
We are looking for:
- Proven experience in designing and developing software using .NET and C#.
- Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and microservices deployed via container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Postgres.
- Familiarity with modern software development methodologies within an Agile environment.
- Practical knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
- Experience with Python would be highly beneficial.
