Due to ongoing project expansion and technological advancements, Our Client is seeking a skilled Electrical Instrumentation & Control Engineer. This key position will support the design, development, and deployment of electrical and control systems for space missions. - Evaluate, develop, and implement electrical, instrumentation, and control systems within our supply chain, ensuring adherence to ECSS standards for space applications.
- Act as the primary liaison between external electrical/electronic system contractors and internal multidisciplinary teams.
- Analyse electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system architectures to meet project specifications.
- Lead system testing, validation, and commissioning activities, confirming performance aligns with mission objectives.
- Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues during assembly, integration, and testing stages.
- Drive continuous improvement in control and electrical systems for enhanced reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with industry safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a relevant discipline (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience in electrical design, instrumentation, and control systems within aerospace, defence, or space environments.
- Hands-on experience with space mission testing, including thermal, vibration, and radiation assessments.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Familiarity with ECSS software standards and systems engineering processes.
- Experience designing space-qualified electronics with high reliability and radiation tolerance.
- Knowledge of high-performance analogue and digital circuitry for instrumentation.
This role involves working within a diverse environment, including office spaces, cleanrooms, electronics laboratories, and test facilities.
