I'm working with a UK-based consultancy that is about to kick off two Product contract roles supporting delivery into a large central government organisation. These are hands-on product roles within a GDS-aligned, user-centred environment, focused on product transformation rather than BAU delivery.
You'll be operating in a complex, multi-stakeholder setup, working closely with engineering, design and delivery teams to shape outcomes and move products forward. This would suit experienced Product Managers or Product Leads who are comfortable with ambiguity, discovery-led work and influencing across senior stakeholders, rather than purely managing backlogs.
Initial 3-month contracts, with a strong likelihood of extension. Based across Leeds / Manchester, with light on-site presence (roughly once a fortnight). Start dates expected shortly.
Experience likely to suit:
- Strong product delivery experience in complex or regulated environments
- Familiarity with GDS-style delivery, user-centred design and discovery
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
- Public sector experience beneficial but not essential
If you're a product contractor available now or becoming free in the coming weeks, get in touch to register interest and receive further details as the brief is finalised.
