We’re supporting a well-established engineering organisation looking for an experienced Jira / Atlassian Consultant to deliver a practical, hands-on workshop with their engineering leadership team. This isn’t a generic training course. The team already uses Jira extensively and is looking for someone who can help them unlock more of the platform’s capabilities, improve the way they work, and coach their Lead Engineers on best practice.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll spend a day working directly with the engineering team, demonstrating practical techniques and sharing your expertise across areas including:
- Jira workflows
- JQL
- Board and sprint configuration
- Automation
- Dashboards, reports and charts
- Roadmaps and Plans
The session should be interactive, hands‑on and tailored around the client’s existing Jira environment.
What we’re looking for
- Extensive commercial experience administering and configuring Jira
- Strong knowledge of Jira Software and Atlassian best practices
- Experience designing workflows, automations and dashboards
- Excellent understanding of Agile delivery and Scrum
- The ability to coach and mentor engineers in a practical, engaging way
- Previous experience delivering workshops or consulting engagements
- Experience integrating Jira with GitHub would be advantageous.
