I'm currently working with a global consultancy that is continuing to invest heavily in its Digital and Enterprise Content Management capabilities and is looking to grow its Documentum practice with the addition of an experienced Documentum Developer / Consultant. This is an opportunity to join a highly skilled team delivering large-scale enterprise content management solutions for a range of high-profile clients.

The Role

You'll be responsible for designing, developing and supporting OpenText Documentum solutions, working closely with technical teams, stakeholders and end clients to deliver robust, scalable content management platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing Documentum-based applications and solutions
  • Configuring and supporting Documentum Content Server, D2 and Webtop environments
  • Developing custom functionality using DFC, DFS, REST APIs and Java
  • Implementing document lifecycles, workflows and process automation
  • Supporting upgrades, deployments, patching and platform enhancements
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across enterprise environments
  • Working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise
  • Ensuring solutions align with security, governance and compliance standards

What We're Looking For

  • Strong commercial experience with OpenText Documentum
  • Experience with Content Server, D2, xCP and/or Webtop
  • Hands-on development experience using DFC, DFS, REST APIs and Java
  • Strong understanding of Documentum architecture, repositories, workflows and lifecycles
  • Experience working within Linux/Unix and Windows environments
  • Database knowledge across Oracle and/or SQL Server
  • Familiarity with source control, deployment tools and CI/CD practices
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable Experience

  • Documentum xCP development or configuration
  • Cloud experience within AWS and/or Azure environments
  • Integration of Documentum with third-party enterprise applications
  • OpenText Documentum certifications
