They work closely with senior stakeholders to shape long-term strategy, align complex programmes, and drive meaningful change across secure, high-impact environments.
They are looking to bring in a Senior Digital Transformation Consultant to support strategy development and transformation oversight across major government and defence initiatives. This role is focused on the front-end of transformation, working with senior stakeholders to define direction, structure complex problems, and ensure large-scale programmes remain aligned to strategic objectives.
The role will involve:
- Supporting the development of digital and technology strategies across Defence and Government programmes
- Engaging with senior stakeholders to shape thinking and provide structured, strategic recommendations
- Leading and facilitating workshops to define future state operating models and transformation road maps
- Bringing clarity and structure to complex, multi-workstream environments
- Supporting programme and portfolio governance, ensuring alignment between strategy and delivery
- Promoting research across technology innovation areas (data, cyber, applications, AI, infrastructure) and applying insight to client challenges
- Contributing to wider transformation oversight, ensuring coherence across multiple programmes
A collaborative, adaptable individual, with the ability to integrate into a small, high-performing consultancy team.
Significant experience working within Defence or Central Government environments (essential)
Strong management Consultancy and strategy advisory experience
Core management consulting fundamentals – stakeholder engagement, workshop delivery, structured problem solving
Experience supporting digital transformation or technology strategy engagements
Broad understanding of enterprise technology landscapes and emerging trends
Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders effectively
Unlimited holiday
