An innovative space technology / advanced engineering manufacturer is hiring a Product Assurance Manager to support multiple hardware programmes as the business scales. This is an on-site role based in Oxfordshire (Harwell area), working closely with Engineering and build/integration teams to ensure robust delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement.
The role (high level):
- You'll lead and deliver Product Assurance / Quality Assurance activities across several projects, including:
- Owning delivery against product assurance plans and assurance evidence
- Driving process adherence and practical governance across the lifecycle
- Managing non-conformances end-to-end (containment, investigation, corrective actions, verification)
- Conducting / supporting root cause analysis and preventative actions
- Approving / overseeing project inspections and readiness criteria
- Supporting parts/materials/component process selection and qualification considerations
- Supporting internal audits and implementing improvement actions
- Identifying and embedding process improvements across the PA lifecycle
- Partnering with Engineering / MAIT / Ops stakeholders and influencing decisions using a risk-based assurance approach
