Kotlin Developer
Contract | 6 months initial (likely to extend)
Location: Remote with occasional travel to London
Rate: Up to £475 per day Outside IR35
Clearance: SC Clearance
I'm currently recruiting for a Kotlin Developer to join a specialist consultancy delivering secure technology solutions for a government client.
You'll work as part of a development team building and supporting modern, secure applications, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software within a public sector environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using Kotlin
- Build robust, scalable and secure software solutions
- Work collaboratively with developers, testers, architects and wider technical teams
- Contribute to the full software development life cycle
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve complex technical issues
- Follow Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement
- Support the delivery of secure, high-quality software within a government environment
Required Experience:
- Strong commercial experience developing with Kotlin
- Good understanding of software development principles and design patterns
- Experience working with APIs, microservices and modern development practices
- Strong understanding of testing, debugging and version control
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments
- Experience working within public sector, government, defence or other secure environments
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
