We are partnering with a leading financial services client seeking an experienced Aladdin Business Analyst / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the delivery of strategic investment technology initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile transformation programmes across investment technology, data and analytics, leveraging deep expertise within the Aladdin ecosystem. The successful candidate will combine strong business analysis skills with extensive investment management knowledge and experience working with both business and technical stakeholders. This is a client-facing contract role requiring regular on-site attendance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for the Aladdin platform, providing guidance on platform capabilities, data and investment processes.
- Work closely with BlackRock Solutions, business users and project delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements, assessing current operating models and defining future-state solutions.
- Support the design and implementation of investment management solutions, including public and private asset modelling and analytics.
- Produce functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams throughout delivery.
- Develop and execute testing strategies, including test scenarios and quality assurance activities.
- Ensure effective stakeholder engagement, clear communication and successful project delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within Asset or Wealth Management.
- Proven experience delivering projects within the Aladdin ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of investment management processes and financial instruments.
- Public and private assets, cash flows, security master/static data.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to gathering requirements.
- CFA Charterholder, CQF or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience delivering investment technology transformation programmes.
- Previous client-facing consulting experience.
