We are currently supporting a large-scale pathology transformation programme and are looking for multiple experienced LIMS Testers to support a major laboratory information management system (LIMS) implementation across four NHS Trusts.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile programme delivering Evolution V Lab across multiple pathology laboratories simultaneously. Due to the scale of the programme, additional testing resource is required to support the creation, execution and management of test scripts across a range of laboratory disciplines.

You will play a key role in supporting the testing workstream, working closely with laboratory SMEs and programme stakeholders to ensure laboratory workflows are thoroughly tested and validated ahead of go-live.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Writing and executing test scripts
  • Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Validating laboratory workflows and processes
  • Identifying, documenting and tracking defects
  • Working with operational laboratory teams to ensure testing reflects real-world workflows
  • Supporting multiple testing iterations throughout the programme lifecycle

Essential Experience:

  • Biomedical Scientist (BMS) background or significant laboratory experience
  • Previous experience working with a LIMS platform
  • Experience writing and/or executing test scripts
  • Strong understanding of pathology laboratory workflows
  • Ability to work independently and proactively within a fast-paced programme environment
  • Magentus Evolution vLab (highly desirable)
  • Clinisys WinPath Enterprise (desirable)
