Are you a hands-on Laboratory Specialist with a strong chemistry background, looking for your next long-term contract in a high-standard aerospace environment? I'm partnering with a global aerospace & defence organisation to support a site-based laboratory function in Broughton. This is a fully on-site position working within a structured shift pattern and supporting critical operational/testing activity.
The Details
- Location: Broughton, Chester (fully on-site)
- Contract: 12-month contract (extension possible)
- Rate: £39 /hour Inside IR35
- Overtime: Paid above 35 hours (premium rates apply)
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day laboratory operations in a regulated, safety-conscious environment.
- Deliver accurate, timely lab work to support production/engineering needs.
- Follow defined procedures and maintain high standards for quality, documentation, and compliance.
- Work effectively within a shift-based team and contribute to continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- BSc / MSc in Chemistry (essential).
- Laboratory experience from aerospace, defence, manufacturing, or chemical industry environments (or similarly controlled settings).
- Strong attention to detail and a consistent approach to working with procedures and documentation.
- Comfortable working fully on-site and within a rotating double-day shift pattern.
- Security Clearance: BPSS+ (processed by the end client).
